Lucas G. Bingham, MD is a board certified dermatologist proficient in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Bingham completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and a minor in Zoology. He received his Medical Doctorate from Penn State College of Medicine followed by a transitional year internship at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. He then completed a three-year dermatology residency at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Dr. Bingham is passionate about helping patients and treating skin diseases at home and abroad. He has performed volunteer medical care to patients in Brazil, Italy, Ethiopia, and Kenya. Dr. Bingham also has notable experience in the field of research and leadership. He has published studies and reports in several prominent medical journals, has presented at national and international meetings, has served as the secretary of Community Dermatology International, and has served as a manuscript reviewer for the International Journal of Dermatology. He is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Dermatologic Society of Orange County, and the Pacific Dermatologic Society.
In his spare time, Dr. Bingham enjoys spending time with his large family and being outdoors. He enjoys running, road and mountain biking, hiking, backpacking, snowboarding, and stand-up paddle board surfing. He lived in South America for several years and is fluent in Spanish.
